JFK Half Dollar Roll Hunters: Silver, Proofs And Other Finds

Made a few stops last Thursday got these. My photos are not very good but the proofs are really quite nice

GSR and Cabo are slaying it. Oh how I miss those days finding that kind of silver. I was just told by my Wells Fargo that they are now going to limit me on my quarter boxes. Maybe its a sign to get back to searching half dollars. Congrats you guys on those awesome silver scores.

Thanks Cabo, nice finds yourself! The most proofs I've found in a search was 6 and about half them are well circulated or significantly impaired, you found 40 NICE ones.

GSR I understand, I was searching 8 to 12 boxes per week for over 8 years. The most I got out of one box was 250 1964's. I had several monster boxes through the years. I think I will be going back to halves next year. Trying to get 500 W's in Quarters first. I am at 265. I hope you get the box with 10 -15 silver enders, my experience is with that many enders one should get 75-200 pieces of silver in a box. Good Luck!!!

These came from a local bank in my town. The last 2 times they had halves some silver was in there.

Holy Cow Arby! 250+ in one box? incredible. I'll never find that many in a box. You had quite the run for a few years. What were your final 8 year numbers for 40%'s and 90%'s? You are doing well on "W" quarters. GOOD for you!

GSR Here is one of my monster boxes I scored, http://goccf.com/t/22710&whichpage=1366 Also it wasn't all 1964's Wrong haul. This is the haul I was talking about. I got this haul confused with two other monster boxes 2 weeks apart that got me over 250 1964's. I stopped at 2010 90%ers and 6234 40%ers. Had a great run. Have you seen a lot of magic coins?
