Quote: I love how the only way you would know it was a proof is the Philadelphia mintmark (as Denver struck the uncirculated coins). The rims help somewhat, but the P is the most solid confirmation.

Roll find Clad proof Kennedys can sometimes be hard to detect, I have found a few that have seen extensive circulation and I only caught because of an S mint mark. These coins are even more indistinguisable as a proof than than the commemorative above. I do think the mint dumped some excess or imperfect proofs into circulation in addition to collector spends and dealer dumps of damaged proof coins that could not be sold to collectors.

I'm behind with my posting, I'm going through fewer boxes now, 4 per week, I need to find another branch or two willing to order, two of branches stopped ordering boxes for me a couple months back, became too much of an issue for them, apparently. Anyway, past 5 weeks, 4 boxes each week, 20 boxes total, I found (2) 90% Kennedy's and (20) 40%. Overall good numbers, I had a few weeks when I was searching 10 - 14 boxes per week and found zero or one silver. Also found (1) clad proof and(1) 87-P and (1) 87-D, TRUE NIFC's. I'm convinced the mint released many NIFC's 2002 - 2021, either unsold or defective.

Quote: Have not beem hunting much last few weeks. Did make a few stops on Tuesday got a few. Nice quartet! Quote: On Tuesday after work, I found a 1954 Bennie in a CRW and two SOLID rolls of 40% Kennedys, both in Whitman tubes instead of the usual wrappers, implying that this may have been a mini-collection dump, one being a 1968-D and another being a full 1969-D, all in AU/BU condition, too. Fantastic!

Awesome Scores, nice to see silver still being found. I cracked 4boxes this week and got totally Skunked. I won't be searching any more halves until January 2023. Have to take care of somethings on the home front. Good luck Everyone looking forward to your posts.
