I am pretty sure I read somewhere that the spot where the FG designers initials are located is a common place for grease to fill the die and create the no FG or weak FG look I look at all the FGs when I search a box and there are many very weak FG coins I just return to the bank from many years

Wow very nice haul chuck! You got a massive variety in that batch, even a barber, which has still eluded me.

That's really great. I have only searched 2 boxes so far and 1 each 90% and 40% in each box. Also a clad proof for 2008. I get another box next week. I did start a nickel box today and one silver and quite a few prior 1960 and I've only looked through $30. I have had pretty good luck with them for the most part. Do any of you just hold on to the coins? Just wondering.

I searched a partial box of 400 and was skunked on silver. A handful of NIFCs I didn't bother with and the rolls were by Loomis. I am dying to score my 1st silver... or maybe not so I don't get too addicted.

Today I went to 10 different banks seeking for rolls but no luck , one bank had 6 coins and other had 2 while the teller giving me the coins they were checking the dates one by one ! After that I stopped at wawa for a coffe and paid with 4 of the halves so the girl ask me ... And those are ? I anwer halves , half dollars! She said humm ?!?!? Ok the coffe is 1.75 $ you are shot in 0.75$ then I told her why? Let me see ! Half plus half is a dollar and half plu a half is another dollar what makes 2$ she said lol ok ok I got it now lol !
