Ten rolls today and I got a 65, 68, and a 58 Franklin. Knew my drought wouldn't last.

Half Crazy: It's all in the WRIST ACTION! ( LOL!)

Seriously , its all pure luck- the right box, at the right time, at the right place- period! plus I do not deviate from my weekly routine- 8 boxes every week, no matter what I find for that week, order another 8 boxes for the following week.

Good luck!

So the wife did two boxes today. Skunk. So that made 4 boxes in a row skunk for her. I dumped them, went and grabbed two more boxes, then went and got the kids. Went through one box while daughter drove and got 10 40%. Got home, she begged for a few rolls. Me being the benevolent husband I am, I allowed her to molest some of my rolls. She got 2 40%. The boy begged to give it a try, and being the benevolent father I am, I allowed it. Little bugger got 4 40%. I rounded the box off with 3 more 40%. Total of 19 40% for two boxes.

Again, not monster, but silver.

I don't know what it is about the west coast but it is dry here. Took me 22 boxes to find my first 19 silvers.

The last box I opened had every roll with one end partially opened and 3 rolls had 3 or more coins missing. Also another box prior to that had 11 brown rolls and 39 yellows in the flat box. Seemed fishy having two different wraps.

i went and set up two other bank accounts today with different armored services.

Two boxes last week a couple of proofs, and a polished 73 that caught my eye, this week, again two boxes, a few 40%, and one franklin on the end of the roll that has not been opened yet.

Wife and I searched a box for the first time. Found three 40%. But did not know what else to look for. What are the key dates for Kennedy's? .... and how do you tell a "proof" in circulation... does it just jump out at you?

while searching the edges, Proofs have a very distinct crisp, flat edge to them. Most UNC halves have a nice bright copper edge, proofs have a thicker crisper edge

Went through my usual four boxes and was skunked on one, but found 14 40% in the other 3. We'll see what the new week brings. I did manage to walk into 33 IKES while dumping the halves. No special dates or silver, but a nice find nonetheless.

How do you insert a footer to list your current coins at the bottom of your posts?

Pungod: Click the "My CCF" tab at the top of the page. It will take you to a panel that says "Welcome to Your CCF Control Panel". click on the link that says "Manage your Profile". you will have to enter your password. You can now edit yourprofile, and on the right under basics there are a bunch of different fields you can fill in. The field that says "signature" is what will be the footer of every post you post on the forums. for instance my signature is the oldest circulations finds that I have found listed below..

Hope that helps, I tried to be really detailed for you.

Chuckster - I'm all about volume and getting through as many as you can. I was getting 3 to 4 boxes a week. Determined that I was getting my same dump back in about 3 to 4 months. So stopped for a bit. Now see that my bank has Loomis wrappers with solid boxes (no holes in the top to verify roll count) so tried again this past weekend. Pulled 1 '65....

Better than a poke in the ear with a carrot...
