Since this forum censors profanity, I will just call the person who painted those coins a jerk.

"Tagged KHD's"...that's new to me...what did the guy do..search them, then paint them, so he knows they have been searched? At least he could have used nicer colors!!

Haha! That's awesome! No need to be a poor sport about them though. Here's a thought, at $26.83, I'm going to continue to mine the urban silver veins until they are all dry! Keep a look out for some yellow ones too, you shouldn't miss em'!

NIce haul bish, Ill take 72 keepers in 2 boxes anyday. I'm amazed at the number of 90% your pulling consistantly.
That sucks trying to get rid of those painted coins I'm sure. I'm trying to figure out how these guys are dumping those being painted like that, it shouldnt last long. I do brinks and garda boxes , we dont have loomis around here, Iv seen dunbar trucks, but havnt found a bank yet that uses them, thats the one chain I'm trying to find a bank that uses. the

Seems there is a user here claiming to be the culprit in the coin painting. If you do get yellow ones, I think common sense can tell you what should be done (notify your local banks...).
Absolutely no reason to paint coins like that. In short, it is absolutely juvenile (though I doubt even a child would do such a thing to such a degree).
I can understand one marking edges, or leaving small marks, on a few coins to help track them locally. But spray painting that many is a bit much.

Bish, I always envy your finds. Your most recent find beats my entire life's searching of halves. How sad is that?

Great finds, Bish.
Haven't had time to post lately, but still roll hunting.
On 3 boxes now, so far no silver, but some NIFC's.
Last 6 boxes good; will post when I can.
Happy Hunting, everyone!

Does anyone know how many boxes are normally on a pallet of halves at a Brinks facility or the like? The reason I am asking is that I have read where some searchers have pulled many boxes over long periods of time from the same bank with no luck and then box after box produced nice silver.
Now, I know my local bank get theirs from Brinks. I also know the first four boxes were slightly different than the last twenty or so. Now, my latest two are different and I am finding nice silver.
I am wondering if I may be depleting a supply at a local Brinks and getting into some older boxes containing silver. I know the only real way to know is do more boxes which I hope to do four of this coming week. This past week had to skip seeing the head teller was out.
