that was the plan. I'm holding all 10k until the next shipment arrives at a different bank next week. (I'm going to try it twice to see if anything changes) hold on to as many junk coins as possible until new boxes are delivered. but since (  )walker dumps 4-5 days a week, $10k+ at a time, it doesn't look good. I think they have 1 coin sorter set aside for his dumps so they can rebox them immediately and send them to me. no big deal, I have 4 more banks waiting for me to call if I need to. Edited by bishftl

Hey good luck bish. Why dont you just start dumping into brinks banks, and pick up at garda,loomis....etc... Seems to me if that guy is dumping,and picking up brinks, maybe start picking up from a different source? I pick up both garda/brinks here, garda is defenitely more consistant, I just cant give up on brinks after my monster box from them.

i have garda/loomis right now and am unable to open another acct where brinks delivers due to funds. I have 7 garda dumps and 1 loomis/1 garda pickup bank. eventually I will switch it up again, but for now I am giving my two banks 1 last shot with these 2 10k orders to see if I can't make a dent in the vault even a little. then I plan on going to a brinks funded bank. the large 10k dumps by @#%$Liberty are going to my main loomis branch and is the cause of this streak that will most likely never end.
my dad had his 1 and only haul from a brinks box last month for over $750 melt, but he is out of state and just recently disabled so his searching is done for a while.

I just went to a couple banks nearby. I had a good feeling about one, so I went in. BTW, this was the same bank that recently had a teller say she didn't have halves, even though I saw silver ones in the tray! One teller (not the same one) only had three halves. However, two were 1964 and 1968!  Edited by CPC24

i did not know the boxes worked liked that. i.e... the more you buy, the deeper you get on a pallet?> I guess I thought that whatever the order was, they took it from the distribution center that just boxed someone elses dump.. at least thats what it seemed like when I was just buying 1 or 2.. I thought when you buy a box, it came fresh.. so how do you know that if you buy so many at once, that they come off an OLDER pallet or vault - in which case youd be hitting a lot of silver, seeing as the older ones, werent so searched back then. that is if the boxes you get were boxes 10-15 years ago? not sure how it works...

Got $6 of halves from the teller tray but no silver. I hope the box will produce tonight. It's been two weeks with no silver halves.

Hey guys, thanks for the advice about the selling 40%'s. I didn't even think anyone on CC would want any, since everyone probably has so many. But next time, I will certainly check with you all by leaving a post when I'm ready to sell.

I'm trying to understand your project. It feels to me like my bank for boxes is handing me back someone else's dumps sometimes. Of course, I dump at another bank, and my box bank doesn't have a coin machine, so only coins coming in would be CWR, which they rarely have, when I check. I'm trying to figure out how to get to the bottom boxes. It doesn't seem like its working.
Did 5 boxes this past week. Will post later, but pretty light for silver.

as far as getting deeper into the vault (or secondary vault in this case), it does happen. very rarely but it does. the last time was during a holiday week when the delivery was pushed back a day, so different drivers, different routes, at least my teller told me that is was from the secondary vault. and it turned out to be just that. I think I had one of my better weeks with those 4 boxes,
2 walkers
2 90%
1 90% proof
1 40% proof
20 40%
6 clad proofs
not melt value good but coin variety good.
I ordered the 20 boxes because they would have to be delivered on one of those non-delivery days and was hoping the same thing would happen. No luck this time. I knew they wouldn't since someone is dumping over 10K up to 5 days a week at my branch now. First 10 boxes only a Franklin and 4 40%, pathetic.
I am ordering another 20 boxes again for Monday from a different named bank to see what happens. after that I might be done with the hunt for a long while. Loomis/Garda share a depot and since all that volume is going into 1 branch, the depot has plenty to rebox for weeks if not months now.

i just got told at a Bank of America branch they can't order boxes anymore for anyone. You have to go online and order them and pay a premium.

2 boxes today, not as good as I thought. IV got a bad habit, of checking the entire boxes for enders in my truck driving home...lol.....
Box 1.....3 enders.... total (7) 40%,(2) nifc
box 2....skunk
I hoped the ender box would have been better. Good luck everyone untill friday, iv got 4 more boxes coming.

thanks earle, after 17 boxes in a row with no silver, finding 1 40 was like finding the holy grail haha, halfhunter nice box there
