does anyone have any insight into the "cellophane" packaging used by littleton coins? I have a few coins acquired years ago in my youth, that I may want graded, but if they've been "damaged" by the packs, I won't submit.....thoughts and insight is greatly appreciated. ....thanks

There stuff they use now is completely safe. If you see no signs of damage on the coins, I would assume it is safe also.

If you are talking about possible pvc damage, which you will notice by a green residue, acetone will remove it. Using acetone will not harm the coin in any way or prevent you from getting a problem-free grade from a TPG.

I would not worry about it, but what coins are you considering getting graded? Damage may not be the only factor.
