Well, once again I ended up spending half my budget on paper money at the yearly Bay State Coin Show. I didn't actually expect to find all three of the notes I bought today, so I didn't hesitate to buy them. In addition to a replace Series 1922 $20 Gold Certificate (my old one had some taped repairs that were pretty distracting), I finally managed to get my hands on a very nice Series 1906 $20 Gold Certificate and a not nearly as nice (but still decent) Series 1896 ("Educational") $5 Silver Certificate.
Enjoy [I'll post my new coins in the classic coins forum later]:
Very nice notes and it looks like you finally got the coveted $5 Educational! The Lyons/Roberts is also the scarcest Friedburg number of the series as well.
