Welcome to CCF and welcome to the world of US commemoratives!

The 1893 Columbian half is a second-year issue for the first US commemorative coin program - there's something "exciting" about that! Your example appears to be a coin that has seen some circulation in its life. If the color of the coin in your image is accurate, I would suggest that the coin has been cleaned at some point. Still, overall, a nice example with good remaining detail.

The 1995 Atlanta Olympics Baseball half is one of a handful of US commemorative coins with a baseball theme; it was one of four clad half dollars issued for the 1996 Olympics. From your images, it also looks to me to be a circulated and (possibly) cleaned example. A nice type coin from the modern US series of commemorative coins.

I hope you enjoy having both coins in your collection!

Top Of The Morninn commem ... I know all my photos (so far) have been lacking.
but being new to your world, I didn't know how important a picture can be.

The color is way off. I had the camera on incandescent light and it made the blue hue ... need a better camera but have to settle on phone for now, and learn to use it.

I do like my coin collection .. even if it is small enough to fit in a cigar box
my 'junk' collection is almost full 5 gallon water bottle almost unsearched,
been filling with just every day quarter & dime pocket change for most of the last 25 years, and maybe more, don't really know when I started

Nice additions to any collection.

Concur with the comments on the color of the coins seen in your images. The false color gives the impression that the coins have been mis-handled (cleaned).

Atlanta-Baseball-And-Columbus

Finding this forum has got me to lookin at all the coins I have come across ... I save almost every wun of them ... exciption most pennys and nickels, they tend to git respent (unless)

I've never parted with any of the GOLD NUGGETS that I have found, unless on trade deals only

Question ... If ya have a 5 gallon water jug full of
'everyday change' ((mostly dimes and quarters) and ya no there are some SILVER, not much, and a few wheaties would ya go through them?

ALL WHO WANDER ARE NOT LOST --- And now I'm wondering ...
how much izz FIVE GALLONS of DIMES & QUARTERS

V V n ME diggin gold nuggets so you don't have to
