Does the Gardmaster Large Cent album have a space for the 1859 Brass Cent? It is a real set stopper if it does. If it doesn't I'm thinking of getting an album. I've always enjoyed large cents and have three or four of them just gathering dust. They seem like they need a proper home but I really don't want to buy an album with a hole that will never be filled.

Thanks!

I love the plastic sleeves for the gardmaster albums but the pages that they come with are embarrassingly inaccurate. I scanned in the pages for my Canadian albums and edited them in photoship to include all the missing years and varieties and remove the ones that don't actually exist. The 25 cent book is the worst. I also use these new template files to make pages for my German coin collections.

I know of no album that has a place for a brass cent, since there are less than 5 known to exist. I don't count all the collectors who say "my coin is yellowish so it's brass" or the ebay fodder proclaiming the same thing. With all of the large cent varieties that were finally put into the front of Charlton's after the 65th edition and from Trends, you would need at least 8-9 spaces just for the 1859's alone
