From a village in Western/Central PA that has a population of just 5,431 people according to the 2013 census on Wikipedia...

Nevertheless, bought this at the LCS today for a quarter. Thought it was unique, and since it was in an airtight I figured maybe it's something half decent.

My old school motto was
Labor Omnia Vincit, work conquers all.

This town's motto is
Omnia Vincit Labor, anything's better than work.

I can relate to that.

It is what it appears, a Token/medal for their Bi-centennial. Lots of small towns and cities have them minted for assorted celebrations, My city had some made for the big deal in the 70's few if any I have found even knew the they were made. Since civic things and info about them seems to get lost faster than, rain water going down the gutter. People that took part die or forget about them in a trinket box, to be found by relatives years later. I have assembled a number of local Michigan to me ones and few of any people h seen them.

I think the real question is, do they hold any value?

I highly doubt there's demand?

They will be valued only for local token collectors. I find most in the bargain bins or the under ten dollar display. Other than the large ones 50mm and above in pewter, bronze or silver. Then it is a case of what the person is willing to pay.
