Here is a nice Incomplete Curved Clip. It also sports a nice example of VCR#16 Doubled Die Reverse #16 - Extra Yoke. The shot was difficult because the coin was in a double packed certification flip but after a lot of work I was able to get something usable.

This coin was found by John Kosakowski of Michigan. He also brought about ten other 1974 nickel dollars with possible new doubled dies on the reverse -- to the July 28, 2011 Polish-American Coin Club Show in Sterling Heights, Michigan. I have not processed them yet to see how many are new or if they qualify. Now that my health is better I'll be getting to them soon.
Enjoy!

Cool piece. A nice cross between an error and a variety.

Incomplete clips are underappreciated. It seems like they are more common on Canadian coins (especially dollars) than US coins.

Nickel dollar errors are my Achilles Heel in this hobby... I love it!!

Here are my incomplete clips:

...and I do have a 1974 incomplete clip heading to PCGS shortly.

I just found one, just like yours Ken!! Incomplete punched planchet and VCR #16. Perhaps it was part of the same strip, then run through the same press? The cut is almost at the same orientation, quite a coincidence.

One of my favorite series of varieties. That is an awesome combonation on the coin.
