Are you serious? As rural folk would say "I thought Scissel was pulling my leg!".....well about the oil coins at least, no idea about tractor coins.
This ought to be good!

No tractor or oil coins yet?
How about farm animals? Think bacon. That's the best I can offer......I'll find it and take a photo tomorrow.

Wow , I never knew. A Canadian token on oil is Ludger Gravel Balmoral oil , as for tractor ,a Elora Bissel token.

Scissel, what about the Canada gold $100 2003 Marquis Wheat coin? Or do combines not count as 'Tractors'?

I'm truly amazed, tractor coins, and a combine too! And how could I have forgotten Alberta's own 100th anniversary 25c? Shameful! The Calgary Stampede SD, you know I've never really paid attention to that oil derik in the background....now if it was a variety, you bet. The other "oil" examples, you've planted a seed...haha! But what this proves to me is that coin collecting becomes even more interesting when a person disciplines their mind around concentrating on a possible coin themes as opposed to just looking at the broader "picture", even if themes are not being collected, if that makes any sense. (It does to me.)
Tractors and combines lead the way to what appears to be a common theme of grains. The bacon coin I mentioned earlier, a 1939 1/2 penny from Ireland - a sow with her piglets - fits into a general rural prairie farm theme as well. I don't want to take this thread too off-topic but, for me anyway, this is an enjoyable learning experience of how to look at things differently and I thank you all very much for that!

Roger, the gold $100 Marquis Wheat coin has a great design, but just isn't gluten free. You raise a good question, is a combine a tractor? I dunno! aardspeed - thanks for the heads-up. I'll see if I can find those rounds somewhere a little closer to bullion value.

I'd say a combine is a tractor......if a SUV is a car.

A combine is more job specific than a tractor but close! Love the 100$ gold marquis. Thanks for sharing all the pictures, I had no idea there were so many.
