pishpash Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 3626 Posts	Posted 04/24/2015 7:25 pm Sellers pics were better than minethe coin was quite disappointing when I got it in hand. Although a pretty green colour, the patina is fractured and in very bad condition. It is 27mm and 9.26g. So the obverse then. I was messing around with the reverse and the green powdery stuff, when it seemed that there was a bit of silver showing through. I am sure it is only plated, I have not hit bronze yet. I can not find out where it is from, and not sure what to do next! Any hints or suggestions, I would be grateful. The reverse Looks like a beard, so not Athena then. Report this Post to the Staff
