So I have this 2009 $2 bill, with an odd ink thing in its serial number. It looks regular on the face side, but if you look closely on the other side, you see something odd, on the door in the top left part, you can faintly see the ink on the serial number on the other side. This is on a flat surface, with no light coming down on it, except camera flash.

(There is also what seems to be an imprint of the serial numbers)

We're going to need good pictures to be able to offer any quality opinions.

checking on some of my other $2 bills, it seems it is isn't an error, but just it being crisp uncirculated.

it's also possible this could be a artifact from the next sheet of $2 bills that the sheet this one came from was sitting on during the process of putting the serial numbers on.

"Ink bleed through" is the most common of all banknote errors, especially faint ones. (which doesn't make them any less interesting!) However, it does happen way more often than most realize. In fact I'm willing to bet a lot of newbie collectors have handled a faint bleed through without noticing. Very thick can be worth a pretty penny though.

Here is a faint bleeder I found a month or so ago.

Of America bleeds from the lower obverse into the reverse. Also along the reverse edges there is ink from the front as well. It is somewhat difficult to see in this pictures but in real life the detail is quite noticeable.
