I've heard that there are multiple sites printing currency for the various FRB districts. If that is correct how can someone identify these sites and what are they?

Modern US paper currency is printed at two Federal facilties : the old Bureau of Engraving & Printing facility in Washington, DC, and the new "Western Currency Facility" in Fort Worth, Texas, where I live. The Fort Worth printings, which constitute the bulk of recent series owing to modernization work at DC, have a tiny FW on the face next to the plate check number. Look closely, you'll see it.

Only facilities today, as far as I know, that are printing money are in Forth Worth and Washington DC. Notes printed in Fort Worth can be identified with a small "FW" next to the plate number. DC printed notes will not have anything. DC printed notes are equivalent to coins with no mintmark, which we know indicates Philadelphia.

Thanks for the replies, but when I looked a some of my bills I notices that there are a number of bills that don't have the printing location on them at all.
I.E. $1 bills: Series 2001, 2009, 2006. $5 bills: Series 2013, (2009 yes) $20 Bills: Series 2013,2009, 2006, 2005, 2004A (2001 yes, also had one 2006 from FW) $50 bills: Series 1996
As was said all bills that had a print location specifies were from FW.
So what is with the series that had no print location shown? Surely these can't be error notes as I'm just not that lucky?

If there's no "FW", it came from Washington.
