My first Canadian large cent. These are very attractive coins--the patina goes well with the design.

I wish they kept up with the large cents longer than they did. Here is the 1911 with the "Godless obverse"

That's one nice cent! The toning is great!

Large cents are my favorite Canadian coins, hands down. You picked a great coin to start your collection with KurtS, the 1907H is always popular, and is a tough one to find.

Thanks! In this case, it was a pretty easy find on ebay. I lucked out because the obverse photo was poor, but I chanced it was similar to the reverse.

Welcome to the Canadian large cent collecting. There are many cents out there available in xf or better for little money. Makes a nice set. Also some nice varieties. I only need a handful for a complete set. Good luck.

hi nice coin, good one to start your collection with I'm impressed. I guess you can struggle later on trying to find all the 59's.. ;-)

Patrick--yeah, I especially like the older Canadian coins. They had an elegance to them you don't see today.
