MY oldest bill found in circulation! Nice and crisp. I will keep this one for sure. Run size of 1,280,000? I am trying to figure it out.

Pretty darn good shape for a series 1976 out of circulation. Nice pickup.

That run size would be correct if it was a STAR note. 82,560,000 regular series 1976 San Francisco $2's printed.

Last month when I picked up a few stacks of 2's nearly half the bills were 1976! Crazy right, it was pretty awesome hunting although only 2 star notes in the whole batch of 400ish notes.

When I get $2 bills in the drawer at work, they most often are 1976 series. I think the whole bicentennial movement of the time led a lot of people to buy and horde away these notes and the quarters. Now people realize they are just 2 bucks and spend them.
