It's gotta be MS63 at least, would grade higher but the hair tarnishing made it lower.

There is also some toning on the reverse's edge that will affect the grade too.

I'd say it's an MS62 or MS63.

Do you plan on getting it graded or keeping it raw?

The rub on the hair, ear and cheek makes it an AU coin and worth no more than junk silver. Spot price at this moment is $16.61 so it is worth $1.18.

Well I was going to get an opinion on here first and it appears that even in the lower MS grade the coin wouldn't be worth more than a few dollars. So I will probably keep it raw and possibly use it to trade. I believe I got it in a junk silver lot before so that is probably where I will keep it.

It looks MS to me; MS-62 or 63.

I hate to be a downer here, but I've no idea myself how to grade a Merc from images this small. Tiny marks cost a grade point on this series, and from what's visible here this could be AU50 or MS68.

I thought that too SD but I still need to work on pictures. My phone can only get so close before everything becomes blurry. :/
