Looks like just a beat up, well circulated lcw to me. Possible diagobal die chip on the E but wait for others opinions...

Also jlynch21, any relation to the iconic pop artist Jay Lynch?

Keep looking, you'll find more. Chances are almost all of them will be in better condition than this one. It is an error coin and some people including myself, collect almost all errors. Only thing with this one is it would be hard to sell it because die chips are plentiful to begin with, and it's extremely poor condition.

Ypur welcome jlynch, I think coop nailed your coin... Also, I take it you didn't know about the artist. He is most well know for his magazine art and he was an early Garbage Pail Kids Artist. Think Andy Warhol meets Gary Larson. Check him out. I think I might post one of his pieces in General discussion tonight or tomorrow actually

i think this is probably just damage. Goes with the rest of the coin being pretty beat up.
