Take a look at 141652946292 The seller has 0 feedback and started the coin at .99 cents. I used the barcode and found the NGC ID of 3978921-001. It's a PR-63 valued at $17,650.00. I don't think the photos came from the NGC web page, but it is the same coin. See http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/i...=3978921-001I've tried to report it twice, but it's still up. The current bid is $231.50. How could anyone think a '56 Proof 63 FE would be listed with no reserve and no details on the items certification? Any other way to make sure the seller doesn't take the money and run? Ben ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Report this one under Fraudulent Listing Activities. Doesn't matter much; ain't no way the coin sells and even if it does Paypal is going to hold their money until confirmation of delivery.

It's kinda odd why the seller put that HUGE GRAY BAR on one side...

Simple why he did it, he's a fraud. This whole listing is bogus as is the seller. These bidders will be refunded and the seller will get nothing :-)

His description is rich:
"A very good coin a deal eye catcher when spoken of so bid on it like your ready to buy it and if your not will to pay the price then skip this cause this game ant for you. Thanks"
I think I'll report it too.

So the coin is real just not the holder Then it should still get sold just whoever buys it should be notified about the fake holder. If the 1856 cent on the second link is the same one from ebay then people should just pay up to what they would pay for an MS-63 example, that is if it was actually mentioned in the title. I want to see someone take this coin from this scumbag for what it is worth and not get scammed. I think!

Oh, oh wow okay well then I feel better that it was reported! That's surprising though as I have never seen a coin like that on ebay. If he doesn't have it then why is he selling it.

Exactly! He is trying to take the bidder's money!

I reported it both ways with the Stacks Bowers information you found to both ebay and Stack's Bowers. I love the fact that scammers don't seem to understand that the barcode is just another "font" and can be read with a simple app. I'm glad you found the real auction information so I could include it on both reports. I hate these 1-item-scammers trying to get people to bid on something that they couldn't possibly have and start it at 99 cents. Also, I can't understand why anyone would bid on THAT ebay auction! Unfortunately ebay doesn't always respond until it's overwhelming. "This listing ( 141652946292) has been removed, or this item is not available." I had someone sell me a laptop. It was parts and pieces, had an illegal copy of the OS, memory was understated, basically, scrap. I had to pay to prove it wasn't legit. Then I shipped back UPS with signature. They refunded what he didn't take - in other words what was left in the bank account - and marked it closed. I called for years. I complained that he had three accounts. They said "we can't disclose private information, but we will get back to you" Never once even an email. Short end. Case disappeared from my account, and I'm out$165. He got the computer back. The new hold funds, solves this problem, maybe. Unless I'm a seller and get a false complaint? I will say, I've been working, using PayPal and ebay from the early days and they do have good qualities and I've had very few problems. But one instance like the above, means there are thousands of instances like the above. They stonewalled and deny, and hope the claimant will just give up. No Teeth, frauds just come back with a new account and do the same again, running off with someones money. I was pleased to see the people here reporting the fakes and frauds, over and over, because without that, the crooks would win.
