Warnings to the public needed a simple fool proof test that shopkeepers could do while keeping an eye on the person passing the fake money. If the shopkeeper determines a coin is fake what then? What would you do?
Has the rim on the second coin been filed? The size of the portrait and devices seem to be proportionate. The wear patterns of the second coin are consistent as well. not ready to call this one fake just yet. It looks like the diameter had been altered.
