Okay, apart from the fact these are cash coins (?) are they real/ what are they precisely? Got them in a large lot and have never had any of these before...
All help/info I am grateful for..

Oddly enough there is a world coin forum for those. Otherwise they were minted on the south side of Chicago here. I'm not a foreign coin person but from the markings I'll guess they are coins from some Asian country.

These are reproduction Chinese cash coins, with designs from the Qing dynsaty.

The "bubbly" background on the obverses is the telltale sign in this case. That's an attempt to reproduce the coarseness of a genuine cast cash.

Argh... I thought they felt/looked funny but that's why I posted I guess.
Besides, didn't they stop producing these cash-type coins a while back now?

Yes. Cash coins basically ceased when the Empire fell in 1911, though with a nominal face value of 1/10th of a cent, they had long ceased being the mainstay of the economy.

They are still reproduced today for ceremonial purposes, for use in good luck charms and "hell money", though ones like yours are machine made, rather than by the traditional, labour-intensive method of sand casting.
