cwb - I think the coin is older. I get it in a lot with coins from the 16th and 17th Century. Any more ideas?

Sorry, I don't know much of anything about foreign or ancient coins. I just stumbled across that page and thought I saw some similarities. Keep looking, you will eventually find an answer. It took me a few years to identify an old copper once, but I finally ID'd it!

first picture : Solomons star?
second picture should be rotated 90 degrees, but I am not shure which direction.
Looks like arabic writing
Can be coin of India (or that region)
