HI all,
I recently saw a thread about struck through copper flakes and remembered I had tossed one in my may be an error jar. I never knew this was existed till now. Just thought I would share.

Most "off metal" flakes hitch-hike a rim on planchets that are processed from out of tubs that carried other denominations of coins, blanks and planchets in earlier operations. Most or all tubs will be contaminated in this manner to a greater or lesser degree.
