There's no way that error is worth $450+ IMO that appraiser is just silly to have appraised that coin that high. I mean, who knows if that appraisal is even real?

Here's what I find very interesting. The appraisal letter states that he has no idea how the error occurred. The next sentence say that it definitely happened inside the mint.

How can anyone say they don't know what did it, but guaranty it's a mint error? Doesn't make sense to me.

He goes on to say that the value is so high....

If the appraiser cannot cite an auction where an identical error sold for that price, the value is pretty much anybody's guess.

People are getting way too crazy with these presidential error coins. In ten years all of these little errors won't matter and probably won't bring a premium.
