I've wondered this myself. Can you actually decrease the grade while the bill is in the PNG holder?

Of course, I've never tried it to know. But I'm SURE someone here has

Are they ridgid? I have never seen a bill in a TPG holder.

I have never tried, but both PMG and PCGS holders are still able to be folded or bent if you put enough force on them. I wouldn't recommend it.

Since the notes can slide around in the holder it is possible to damage the corners if you are not careful. I had one experience with this with a note that was mailed to me.
