looks ffffffffffffffaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkkkkeeeee  , the pics are bad but the over all coin looks wrong, especially the date. Feel free to call me Will.

It seems like the hobby is being over run by fakes-counterfeits and not a lot can be done about it.
I am glad to have the CCF eyes ,mine are just learning to see.
Harder and harder to want to buy anything any more unless buying straight from the mint and that is not always fun for the serious collector.

Rule number 1. If you are thinking of buying expensive coins cheap you deserve exactly what happens. if you are buying any coin over a hundred bucks only purchase from a reputable seller with an invoice and return policies, or buy certified coins.

I have been lucky so far, but as far as wanting to grow my collection , I have to be careful so as not to fall into that trap.

Well Gilles let's look at it this way, if you think that there is a Santa Claus in numismatics, and believe in the Easter Bunny then I guess yes It is an Arrogant statement. I am always outraged when I see garbage like that-counterfeit coin listed anywhere. Someone ALWAYS gets duped due to their own greed and or lack of education. If I can help educate just one person and keep then from buying Chinese counterfeits or other junk then yes I am arrogant and proud of it. If it takes arrogance to stop stupidly and lack of knowledge in numismatics then again guilty as charged. Good coins DO NOT come cheap and if YOU think otherwise ,keep the chimney clean my friend as the big guy does not like soot on his red suit.
