here is another challenge for you Celtic. Another one of those pesky 1851 cents late die state with blurry dates and weak strikes. Looks like it could be N-27 to me. Grellmans book describes a line from dentils up to bottom left hand corner of 1st 1 in date. Also a lump on lower right corner of T in cent. I was just checking Heritage N-27s, man that's a tough one, hard to tell. Nice pick up for $12 though. I saw that one.

I can't confirm or deny the attribution on a Braided Hair large cent without clearly seeing the date. N-27 is really characterized by repunching on the first one which on this coin is almost gone. It could be an N-27 but would it be worth a premium in this grade.
