Man, I am happy to be here with you guys
Can you all tell me if this coin has BD or not. A friend (of mine) is thinking of picking it up but thinks it may have BD. I told him I would find out. All replies are welcome.

doesn't look like it to me AM, usually lighter in color. I bet that's pretty solid stuff.

I can't see any, A.M. B.D. is mostly a 'flouro' green color, and I can't see any of that there.

I don't think it has BD, but perhaps a short treatment with Verdi-Care may help. Very good stuff for bronze coins.

I agree with the others, I don't see any BD either.

I see that green on silvered bronze coins pretty frequently, and it's always been stable. I think it's just where the patina started to develop (possibly a silver poor area on the coin?) but it stopped.
