It seems that I have quite a lot of provincial types in my unknown pile which is proving rather difficult for a novice like myself.
2 more for you that have me stumped
Coin 1, not sure if it is an alter with flame or bunch of grapes ?

Tenbob, can you make out the obverse or reverse legends. Also can you tell if they are in Latin or Greek?

AM, do you think the reverse on Tenbobbit's first coin might be a grape cluster? Sort of like?:

I think you got it Bob. I am still looking for coin 2; the letters look Greek to me.

If not the exact coin then that's a very close call BOBL
AM, they both have greek legends as far as I can tell but the patina on both coins is making them impossible to decipher.
The pictures actually show the legends better than I can make out with a 10x loupe & a 30x loupe.

Perhaps a useless idea: would a gentle graphite (pencil) rubbing from the coin onto thin paper (tracing paper, if you've got it) make the letters more readable?

I agree that the reverse on the first one is grapes. I think the obverse might be Geta, just a guess but a place to start.

LOL BobL, interesting suggestion
I think I may have found a match or very close for coin 2,
Diadumenian - ( wildwinds ) Nikopolis, Moushmov 1343
I also believe that coin 1 is Diadumenian,
Wildwinds - Nikopolis, Moushmov 1315
The busts are a very good match for both coins.
What do you think ?
Sorry Chrsmat, it took me over 30 mins to finish my post
I think you are right

I always forget about him, but Diadumenian would make more sense.
