1940 & 1941 Proof Sets Purchased Yesterday

I normally try to use ebay as a barometer in determing value, but there's a wide range on there. They range from anywhere from $174 to $1000. Mine look like the listed below. I hope I'm not stepping on any toes or crossing any barriers with THIS post, thanks for all your help. Anyway, I'd only buy certified individual coins from those years to make up the set, because I don't believe they came in sets, only individual coins, but I could be wrong about that. He means that he bought the proof sets in a capitol holder, and the one linked is not the one he bought. Makes sense now.
