I can't seem to find any recent sales of this coin in this grade (note it is PL). Any help in valuation would be appreciated.

Unfortunately that link only lists up to MS-60. Mine is MS-66 PL, so the link is not useful.

Please don't utilize the NGC price guide as a valuation reference, its vastly inaccurate and outdated. Not many are listed online but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are rare. If you had access to catalogs from EU auctions houses this would be a lot easier. Yours is a common date so that makes valuation a bit easier as it can be compared to prices for other common dates in similar grades. Your best bet is to look for auction prices realized for similarly graded coins. Based on what I see on CoinArchives there are plenty of MS-65 but few 66's. The 65's seem to be realizing around $500-$600. Your 66PL may realize over $1000, but that is speculation on my part.

Thanks. I bought it a few years back. I still have it. Wanted to get it certified by PCGS, but haven't gotten the chance yet.

Quote: If you had access to catalogs from EU auctions houses this would be a lot easier. I don't think EU auction houses sell many slabbed coins and none of mine give Sheldon numbers for non-slabbed coins. I found a bunch of 1902 NGC 65s and only one 1902 NGC 66 in Heritage's archives. The 66 (not PL) sold for $920 in 2010.

It is tough to evaluate, since there may not be any other MS-66 PL out there. I don't think NGC releases the number of these in PL graded, or if they do I can not see where to find such data.
Thanks for everyone's input.

NGC census for Norway 1902 20K 66PL is 2/0. My NGC membership has expired but I was able check their world census listing on their site. I think they limit use of the census if you are not a member.
