The inscription, read in the usual top-bottom-right-left order that you read Chinese coins, states "Feng hua xue hue", literally "wind flower snow moon", but is apparently a colloquial expression in Chinese that implies "the season of romance". The expression commonly appears on "spring coins" or "marriage tokens". It is not old - probably 20th century. As for value, maybe a few dollars. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
