Picture isn't the best. I'm having a hard time seeing what you are talking about as well. The picture is too grainy and the glare from the light is exactly where we need to see.

Maybe something with the R but looks like MD. Can you steady the shot, diffuse the light with a plastic grocer's bag (be careful of the heat), and take another couple pictures? Distance is about right but you could back it up a bit without missing the details you want us to see.

Some of those letters look a little fat on the left hand side of them, but with the glare, it is hard to tell what is there.

Glare: Probably the biggest reason people don't takes pictures of the sun.

You did better on the pics, but I honestly can't trust myself to make a call based on those images.

In the most recent photographs the second 'T' is the most interesting but I cannot say for sure if it is PMD or something else.
