I was just in a vulue village and they had a 1954 1$ for 74$ it was folded and small rips and black spots (looked like mold) all over it. I didn't buy it but should I have told them the price is way too high for that 1$ bill, sorry I did not have time to take pictures.

And it was not a replacement issue

They had mutilple things in circulated condition that was also very high.

Probably folks who looked up the note on the internet, found out that they "can be" worth $74 and said "awesome!"

People don't stop and realize that the value of stuff is dependent on the state of preservation of them.

I was not able to see it was folded in a plastic bag only displaying the date and part of the seris number. Is say the just way overpriced beacause they had Montreal canadian dollar 2007 I think that was circulated with vedigris on it for 7.99.

Lets just say it looked worse then this

I almost want to go there and offer them a dollar for it. But then again I'm looking for a job and they are hiring. if I could get a job I could convince them the actual price and add them for my own collection.

Oh and there was a 2$ for $90

Dont forget old game consoles almost picked up a complete playstation 1 for $15 (I try to collect them but my mom hates them)

Local value village got a 100oz silver bar in last year, wanted twice bullion value for it because someone said silver was "highly collectable"

Feel sorry for whoever donated it though haha
