I was lucky enough to find a few Dansco out of print foreign albums from a dealer's clearance area (Canada Type, Australia Type, and Panama). I didn't realize it at the time, but what great finds these were. Recently Dansco issued (reissued?) Australia and Ireland albums. However, I've got a lot of foreign that I'd love to get Dansco albums for. In the back cover of an older Fiji album I see a whole lot of foreign albums that I've never seen anywhere (Israel, Japan, Hong Kong, Guatemala, etc). Occasionaly I see Mexico type albums on ebay, but they are always sold full of coins. I have the coins, I don't want to buy more coins, just the albums. Where can I find some more Dansco foreign albums?

You can tryout TradeWinds: http://www.tradewindssupplies.com/i...ous/list.htm

They don't have everything you listed but may have or can order them. They offer the best price that I had ever found online or in store (excluding clearance stuffs).

Good luck with your find and please do share the info.

Thanks,

Thanks,

They do have the best prices. They also were the place where I found those few foreign albums I do have in their clearance area. However, there are none left.

Hey any luck finding the Dansco albums? I recently won a Dansco Japan type on ebay but am finding albums much harder to find these days. I found a few of the Canada type albums at a coin show a few years ago. And found a couple of Mexico type albums on ebay. I paid close to the retail price of these when they were originally released. Based on what I can find on ebay the Canada and Mexico type can be found offered at least 2 to 3 times a year without coins at a reasonable cost. But the others you listed are very hard to find. In the five years I been a member of ebay I have seen the majority only once or twice. And each had coins included. They averaged in the $200+ range. Funny since I did see several offered during the same period but all were from the same person. Also you might consider the Whitman albums for Canada and Mexico type coins. Since they too offered several during the same time period (1970's) as the Dansco. I have a few of those but mainly use them for the lesser grade coins since they seem to tarnish faster in the Whitmans. Not sure why.

I would dearly love to get a Fiji (No. 7350) but they are out of stock everywhere.
Two just sold on local ebay but they were full sets and not just albums.

If anyone has one, or knows of one available, please let me know. Condition doesn't matter as long as it is serviceable. In fact, I prefer buying used albums for my sets; I think it gives a set a little "atmosphere".
