I was shopping at a goodwill outlet store today and pulled a cool large Harrison State Quarter map out of a bin. I saw that it was unused and in decent shape from where I pulled it of just a little dust which I wiped off.

My friend looked at my funny and asked why I would want it. I paid 80 cents a pound for it. So which it being mostly cardboard it was like 40 cents.

I went three blocks south to my coin dealer and traded it for a 1942 junk walker half. It was a pretty fun day picking with instant gratification for once.

Great trade!

Was your friend with you at the coin shop? If so, did you tell him that is why you bought the coin map at Goodwill? You knew the guy at the local coin shop would give you more than the 40 cents you paid for it.

Yeah my friend drove with me to the shop. I told him I would either trade it or I would give it to my little cousin that collects State Quarters if I couldn't get enough. My friend used to collect Franklin halves before I bought him out due to disinterest so he thought it was pretty cool.

Either way it was pretty cool especially since I found like three quarters loose in bins before that. Always come out good there
