it is very hard to tell but I think this one is not cleaned, I am seeing a semi lustrous rev. and a mirrored, almost pl obv. judging by the toning this came in a lot including the previously posted 1955. it is cool, I got a collection around Christmas time with 3 '55s and 2 '51s. they had the same kind of toning as yours accept a little browner. also yours appears to be a nice example of a SWL. the HP looks a little thick, is it a double HP? also there are some cool repunched date numerals for this year.

well it is certainly a pretty piece of silver IMO, have you gotten a hold of ICCS? this and the '55 would be good coins to consider for certification.

I cant tell you the grade from these images but lets assume they are both a minimum of MS-63, if this is the case they are both worth sending in to ICCS. I would say that your 1951 swl has a rim nick between the A and R of dollar which is slighty distracting but not a major issue, I personally would pay 70% of trends. your 1955 however looks like a definite SWL but from the pics could it make an arnprior? its possible. I personally love the look of the 1955 and would pay up to 85% of trends if you send the 1955 in to ICCS you will have to pay a small amount if it is a SWL because they will likely identify it as a Charlton number.http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins...ar-1937-1952 http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins...ar-1953-1986
