Okay so I found this in a handful of change laying around, it is a 1999 Connecticut State Quarter and its all normal looks nice but the thing that caught my eye... In the heads neck there is a copper republican bear! What is this?  |

So how much do you think its worth? Probably 25 cents huh? There is no way I'm lucky enough to get anything good, BTW I just started looking at coins yesterday for the first time so at least I got an exciting start right? I think it's pretty eye appealing

It's probably worth keeping. Someday (half a century from now?), when you have 1000s or 10000s of coins, you can look back at this one as your very first.

And you will find something good just keep at it and don't get discouraged when you go on long dry spells cause they seem to come in spurts when you do find cool stuff-at least for me it always seems to
