I just bought a 1921 Morgan. It weighs in at 26.4g. Possible fake? Silver seems to check out but concerned with weight.

I purchased 2 coins through ebay. The 1900 O Morgan weighs in at 26.3g which seems to me to indicate a fake. I contacted the seller they are ignoring me. What to do? Police? ebay doesn't care they told me to try and work it out with the seller. The other coin is an 1890 Morgan weighs in at 25.5g the seller of this coin says they will send a new coin

The weight for a Morgan dollar is 26.73 grams. I am going to say your coins are circulated thus have lost some of their mass.

Don't know if the OP is still checking this, but pictures would help.

I agree. With pictures, we can determine the authenticity.

The member hasn't been back since that day. Apparently this isn't that important to them.
