Coins have always fascinated me, and only recently I have gotten serious about collecting. Does anyone know of where I may obtain some inventory software for my computer? I want to find an easier way to keep track of what I have, and what I need. any help will be grateful. Thank you.

There have been several threads on just this topic ,,try doing a forum search for it .

if you don't find it let me know and I will help with it .

I use a simple spread sheet on MS works .

its easy to update and has enough columns to put in the info I need .

I don't have any software but there is a checklist book by Whitman that fits in your back pocket so you can take it to the coin shop or coin shows.

CM 2008 is out and running. The thing that is nice about the 2008 version is that it will auto lookup PCGS coins and they are working on getting it to autolookup NGC at the moment. Bryan1315 you should actually purchase the software as it keeps the cost down for every one else. Are people who use hacked/stolen software is drive the prices up and up.

I was using Coin Manager to track my collection. But it was taking me to long to add my world coins. So now I am in the process of switching to Exact Change. I will update everybody as I go along in the process. I just installed the software last night.

I installed the program last night and it took 44 minutes and used 3.72GB of disk space. That is a full install with all the country's installed.

For starters try using excel, I have found this to work really well for me. I make diffrernt pages for each denominations and you can customize it as much as you want you can even add pictures of your coins to it.
