Got to work today and decided to take a closer look at stuff, since seeing alot of errors on this site!
Think one of my 64 proof quarters may be DD! Any opinions on if this is an error and/or value?
Sorry for poor photos. I only have a tablet to use.if you need better pictures ill try my best to get them.

I don't think this is a proof coin. It is not shiny enough. But it appears to be a type "B" reverse (proof reverse) used on a business strike coin. I can't see what you are calling a doubled die from the images provided.

To me it looked like the letters in "united States of America" and "liberty" were doubled. Definitely could be wrong.
Also when I bought it at a coin show it was already marked proof, I just took his word for it. But it has that hazy look a proof gets if not cared for properly. Here again I'm probably wrong.
Thanks for your knowledge

If it were a proof it would look like this:
1964-Proof-Double-Strike?
But it is a Type "B" which is worth more than a Proof quarter.

Impossible to tell from those pics. We would need to see close ups of the devices.

I always cringe when I see staples so close to the coin. The coins will stay put just as well when the staple is closer to the outside of the holder. I suppose there have been a good many coins damaged because of the stapler head or staple hitting the coin. The coins are also easier to remove without damage if the staple isn't so close.
