Any idea if this coin is an authentic MS steel cent, or could it have been resurfaced to look mint. looks almost flawless, besides the weak "O" in one on the reverse. Any idea on a grade? I can take more pics if needed. Thanks

Looks like it was reprocessed.

If it was reprocessed would that change the weight?

The change would be very subtle.

I'm leaning towards reprocessed. watch out for those staples.

The whole coin kind of looks pitted from the first set of pics. Maybe it was a ground find that someone tried to clean up.

By the way, they really are made of steel so you don't have to put air quotes.

Look reprocessed to me, especially the second pictures. Do they have any bluish tint or coloring to them? I had a bunch that had been replated, and some had a bluish tint. Mine were worn coins with a perfect shiny finish, so it was obvious something was wrong. "By the way, they really are made of steel so you don't have to put air quotes." Those are real quotation marks...not "air quotes"

No they are just shiny silver color. No tint at all.

They look like they're reprocessed. They look like older steelies that were cleaned up and replated. Due to all the pitting I see from your pictures, but the fact that they look brand new finish wise.
