When I get birthday money I would love to buy some cull/ worse than cull circulated morgans. Where do you buy them cheap? 20 bucks a pop on APMEX and Provident is a bit much. Thanks!

LCS quoted me $22 for culls and $28 for circs on the phone yesterday.
Was going to let the kids pick one out each, (trying to get them interested), but that seemed kind of high.

On the other hand, the experience of a coin shop, picking in person, is probably worth the 2-8 dollar premium.

No LCS anywhere near me that is not appointment only or open on the weekends. Plus I bet they would not have anything.

I pay $20 for very decent shaped Morgan's wherever I go. I wouldn't pay much over melt (maybe a dollar or two) for cull. That just doesn't make sense in my world.

I use coininfo.com on base price of 90% coinage and to me your losing money if the melt value of a pre 1936 /90% dollar (cull) is $13.210 and AG/G is $17.00 .. I would just buy bullion bars or coins myself for Silver and pay a little more for AU/MS Morgan's if collecting them is the end goal or the desire..

The reason I say that is because I was getting 2015 BU ASE for $17.95 shipped and I bought 28 of them and I am at .85 cent each over melt value on them.

Not sure about where you are located but I picked these Peace dollars up for $19 each and the Eagles were $20 from club members looking to move some of their stuff at our meeting last night.

The Peace dollars were in the "cheapest VG" bag.

I think they are a little higher grade than that.

My rival club member who I sell all of roll hunting junk JFK halves to beat me to the sale and bought 3 rolls worth.
