I lived for two years in Sale, and worked for most of that time in the Engineering Department of the Borough of Stretford Council, opposite Old Trafford Cricket Ground. I could see matches being played, merely by looking out of the window! I am not Pommie born however, but started my life in the red light district of Sydney. Proud to be a descendent of a Convict!
