Was looking in one of my 6 coin SBA Mint Sets and find an interesting die crack on the bottom D mint coin. Looks like someone wanted to take her head off. Anyway, hope you can follow it in the picture. Thanks. Jeff

Runs from each side of the top of her garment shoulders, at a downward slope from right to left. Jeff

I'm waiting to see other responses...it's odd but I don't think it's a die crack especially because of where it starts and ends.

You can see it now pretty good from the right then trails the blouse so it's hard to see but continues to the other side. Jeff

its very hard to say, cant see what needed to confirm as a die crack but it could almost be a light clash almost as a perfect normal coin. I don't know if a crack would go in that direction or a crack appear in that area but that's my theory nothing to go by so good luck with this one.

The direction is all wrong for a clash. Also the fields are the only thing affected by a clash. The area affected is deeper into the die. It is a die crack. Happens often the bust area especially quarters.

Would need better images. This might just be a scratch.
