Is there an official list of which classic commem halves were dumped into circulation vs melted?

I recall the 1892 / 1893 Columbians were but what other issues were dumped into mainstream circulation and showing honest wear vs finding one that should not have circulated leading towards a pocket piece or inadvertently released into the wild.

No official lists that I no of, but a lot of leftover GWC's and BTW's that were unsold were dumped into circulation in the early to mid 1950's. My understanding is the Treasury did not want them back and told the issuing banks to just place the remaining coins into circulation through normal distribution channels.

I wanna say I read about this somewhere a long, long time ago. (Too long ago to remember where, too!)

Pcgs books/commemoratives has an article with quick details at the end of every article saying how many were melted.

I answered a similar question a few years ago. Here's a link: https://goccf.com/t/122535

Let me know if that post answers your question or if you are looking for something more.

There was a good article by Tom DeLorey about classic commemoratives in COINage magazine dated May 2004. In addition to those mentioned in the other thread, he states that over a million 1925 Stone Mountain halves were dumped into circulation.
