What are your thoughts on condition and price point? Seller lists it as MS. I don't know enough about nickels to be accurate. I know the corn stalks on the back are one of the key things to look at. Looking at it for my 7070.

Do the scratches on the obverse indicate it was cleaned?

Looks like it's been scrubbed. IMHO, it's an AU details coin, worth maybe $10.

I would pass on this coin to be honest. The scratches are a tell and the scan shows dark and light areas (mint luster). On an MS coin you would not see the dark/light shading so irregular. This coin looks AU at best. Look for a nicer coin (there are plenty to be found).

All sorts of things about this one bother me. The reverse - entirely - is a dealbreaker. I don't really know what's going on there, but very little of that is how the coin's surface should appear. Take a pass. There will be others. This issue was saved in quantity.

Buy one not with any issues you can find plenty on ebay
