This is a recent ebay purchase, 1881H is one of my collecting interests. Pic 1 is of the obverse (digital microscope has limitations). Pic 2 is a close-up of Canada showing the C1A/C1 variety. Pic 3 is a close-up of Regina showing a nice triple punched N, a die break past the N, a lateral die break from the I through the N, doubling on the rim and a die chip referred to as ''apostrophe A'' (obverse C1, sub-punch O2C for those who have Turner's Dies & Diadems). Did anyone saw (or have) other 1881H C1A/C1 with the die chip near the A of Regina? Thanks.

Greetings Fourmack; yes but for the 1881 hybrid which has a C1A obverse over a C1 obverse. Thanks.

Nice coin, I have not got that one yet but many that are similar. 1881 sure is a great year. Thanks for the photos.

Don; you have an 1881H doubled dies obverse C1. It occupies page 40 and 70 in Rob Turner's Dies & Diadems. A good find.
